When it is time to repair, upgrade, rebuild, retrofit, re-manufacturer, re-control, replace or add die casting capacity to your facility, why not consider a good used Horla die casting machine? When considering the cost to upgrade the electronics, PLC controller and hydraulics on an existing machine, it is often much less expensive to buy a good quality used Horla machine from us. Our prices are often better than buying at auction. However, if you desire a fully rebuilt die casting machine with state of the art controls, we can supply you with a low cost machine core which you can have rebuilt to your exact specifications. This allows you to continue production with your current machine while the core we supplied is being rebuilt. We are also happy to take your used machine in on trade, further reducing your costs.
In addition to traditional die casting machines, we also buy and sell specialty die castings machines including Squeeze Cast machines, Metal Matrix Composite machines, Semi-Solid die casting machines, Liquid Metal diecasting machines, Rotor Cast machines and Rheocasting machines. F.A.Q. Why are our used die casting machines on this website not painted?
Sometimes we are asked why our used machines have not been painted before we list them on our website. Freshly painted machines may look good, but may be mechanical and hydraulic wrecks. There are many good reasons not to paint a used die cast machine until after a customer purchases the machine. We believe a used die cast machine can be best inspected if it has not been painted before inspection. This better allows the person inspecting the machine the ability to determine if the hydraulic cylinders, pipes, hoses and fittings have been leaking and to tell if the lubrication system has been working correctly as both of these systems will leave stains on the paint. A general assessment of the condition of the linkage can also be made by looking at the wear patterns in the paint of the linkage caps as a bad pins and bushings in the linkage will be displayed with unique wear patterns in the paint. Additionally, cracked links are “hidden” if the linkage has just been painted. Lastly, if you paint a machine before the customer purchases it, the “seller” has dictated the color scheme instead of the buyer.
